Up is where you'll go in the Zeppelin Gold Stud Post Earrings — hollow, brush-textured, and impossibly light for their scale. Each earring is built around the Small Zeppelin bead, measuring 2.5cm by 8mm: substantial enough to read as a true statement stud, yet hollowed out so it floats on the ear instead of dragging it down. The brushed texture diffuses light softly across the surface rather than flashing it back.
Heavily plated in radiant 18k gold for a lasting high-polish finish, the Zeppelins are finished with posts for pierced ears. The combination of hollow construction and hand-brushed texture is the whole trick — presence without weight, glow without glare.
"The Zeppelin is an engineering piece disguised as a simple stud. I built the bead hollow because a solid bead at 2.5cm would be unwearable — this way you get the full visual scale with a fraction of the weight. The brush texture was a deliberate choice over mirror polish: brushed gold catches light the way brushed silk catches it, soft and directional. And posts, not hooks — a stud this sculptural should sit exactly where you put it."
