"I wanted to take the timeless hoop and give it a much more architectural, open-air feel. By shaping the earring out of four distinct, interconnected teardrops, you get this gorgeous geometric depth. We rolled and hammered the brass so that the 18k gold plate shimmers beautifully as it moves. At 2 1/4 inches, they make a fantastic statement, but because of that open design, they weigh only 9 grams and feel completely weightless on the ear."
