"I wanted to take the ultimate symbol of laid-back beach culture—the cowrie shell—and give it real, substantial permanence. Instead of stringing natural, fragile pieces that inevitably chip or crack over time, we sourced these incredible cast brass shells and expertly polished the ridges so they gleam beautifully in the gold finish. I purposefully chose a toggle clasp and linked it with a 1-inch extension ring so the hardware itself acts as a front-facing design element, meant to be shown off rather than hidden on the underside of your wrist."
