A cluster of black glass beads, built up bead by bead in our studio. Up close it's beadwork; from six feet away it reads like caviar — dozens of small black rounds packed tight. New and vintage beads sit side by side — matte black against high-gloss, faceted cuts flashing next to smooth polished rounds — so the black reads in layers instead of falling flat. Every bead is embroidered by hand onto a brass base, plated in 18k gold and sealed with a protective e-coat. From above, the cluster measures about two inches across: graphic, sculptural, unmistakably after-dark. The band adjusts, so one ring fits most hands.

“I built this one bead by bead, embroidering each one by hand in the studio. It's slow work — the cluster grows one bead at a time until it sits right. And I made it adjustable, because a cocktail ring should be easy: one ring, most hands.”
