The foundation of the design begins with vintage bangle bases meticulously hand-wrapped in smooth, black satin ribbon.
From there, the set is densely hand-embroidered in a sophisticated black, white, and grey color story. This high-contrast mix features clear, matte white, milky white, and deep black vintage glass and resin beads, heavily interspersed with sparkling crystals and gunmetal silver accents. To elevate the texture and add an edgy metallic finish, a delicate, thin silver chain is intricately woven throughout the beadwork. Measuring an accommodating 20 cm in inner circumference with a bold 0.75-inch width per bangle, they look spectacular stacked heavily on one wrist for a dramatic clinking effect, or separated for balanced, effortless glamour. "I love jewelry that engages the senses, and the Cocktail Clappers Bangle Set does exactly that. I wanted to create a moody, sophisticated black and white color story that sounds just as beautiful as it looks when you move. We took black satin-wrapped vintage bases and embroidered them heavily with clear, milky white, deep black, and gunmetal beads. The defining detail, though, is that thin silver chain we wove directly into the beadwork—it gives it this slightly edgy, metallic contrast that catches the light perfectly. Because of the materials used, there is absolutely only one set in existence."
