Fifty-four inches of hand-linked gemstone — a true rope-length sautoir made to be worn your way. Cherry-red quartz glows against agate and neutral stones, punctuated by five smooth gold rings, all carried on a chain Jared built bead by bead.
Worn long, it falls to the upper thigh; doubled or tripled, it layers like three necklaces in one — or wrap it as a belt over a dress. The oversized lobster clasp hooks to any of the five rings, so the length is yours to play with.
Artist's Note
I hand-select and lay out every bead, then wire-link each one into the chain by hand — there's no premade strand here. When the necklace is finished, the whole piece is dipped and plated in 18-karat gold, so every link, ring, and clasp carries the same warm finish.
