The stud you will reach for every day. The Gleam is a small round disc — eight millimeters of mirror-polished front that throws back the light — edged with a fine brushed rim you only notice up close, the way good basics always keep one detail for the wearer.
It is made for the layered ear: quiet enough to sit below a cuff or a hoop, bright enough to hold its own alone, and easy in a second or third piercing where anything bigger would crowd. One pair, two finishes — silver for the cool stack, gold for the warm one.
Artist's Notes
I think of this one as punctuation. A sentence of jewelry — cuff, hoop, pendant — still needs its full stop, and a clean disc of light at the lobe is exactly that. The brushed edge matters to me: a perfect mirror all the way around would feel machined, and the hand-worked rim keeps it human.
