De Serafina Earrings zijn een tour de force van ambachtelijke beweging en formaat. Met een indrukwekkende lengte van 8 inches zijn deze hangers ontworpen om de schouder te strelen, waardoor een ritmisch, vloeiend silhouet ontstaat dat bij elke beweging transformeert. Elk paar heeft een ingewikkeld, handgeborduurd focuspunt bij het oor dat overgaat in een dichte, watervallende cascade van hoogwaardige kralenfranje.
Handgeborduurd in onze West Hollywood-studio, is de constructie van de Serafina even verfijnd als zijn silhouet. De achterkant van elk geborduurd focuspunt is zorgvuldig afgewerkt met soepel leer, wat zorgt voor een zacht, luxueus gevoel op de huid en een strakke, hoogwaardige esthetiek. Deze leren achterkant dient als basis voor het hoogwaardige messing clip-mechanisme, dat is ontwikkeld voor een veilige, knelvrije pasvorm. Dit is een uniek statement voor de verzamelaar die "noir"-glamour en ongeëvenaard ambachtelijk detail eist.
Noot van de ontwerper: "De Serafina draait om pure, onvervalste beweging. Ik wilde iets creëren dat aanvoelde als onderdeel van het kledingstuk zelf. Door het borduurwerk met de hand af te werken met een leren achterkant hier in onze LA-studio, zorgen we ervoor dat de oorbellen even comfortabel als dramatisch zijn. Het is een stuk dat een podium eist — de ultieme expressie van onze 'noir'-esthetiek en textielgedreven ontwerp."
