Fijn metalen gaas valt in een vloeiend, stofachtig gordijn van slim verborgen stekers, zodat de chainmail naast het oor lijkt te zweven zonder zichtbare hardware die de lijn onderbreekt. Het gaas vangt licht in een constante, stille glinstering terwijl het beweegt — minder flits, meer gloed.
Verkrijgbaar in stralend 18K verguld en in een koel verzilverd, loopt de Fazzoletto 5 inches (12.7 cm) lang waarbij elke oorbel slechts 1/2 ounce (17g) weegt: al dat drama, ontworpen om als niets aan te voelen. De constructie met verborgen stekers is de goocheltruc — van voren is het pure gedrapeerde metaalpoëzie.
"Ik noemde ze Fazzoletto omdat het gaas, de eerste keer dat ik het drapeerde, bewoog als een zakdoek gevangen in een bries — zacht, vloeiend, gewichtloos. De verborgen stekers waren de doorbraak: ik wilde dat de chainmail eruitzag alsof hij gewoon naast het oor zweefde, zonder hardware die de illusie verbrak. Vijf inches (12.7 cm) geeft het gaas ruimte om te stromen, en met een halve ounce per kant is de schaal puur theater zonder de pijn. Ik maak ze in zowel goud als zilver omdat het gaas in elk volledig anders leest — warme gloed versus koel maanlicht."
