Jewelry FAQ

Our Jewelry FAQ

Jewelry may be taken with different cameras, devices, or even services. Good examples are best with other non-Plated objects in them and here in this page's image. Even better is to try the jewelry on in-person at stores carrying our Jewelry or to rely on our Return Policy.

We'll work with you via FaceTime to pick out wrapping and can also text or email as required. Make sure in your checkout to select 'Gift Wrapping' before making your purchase.

Rhodium is a silver-white metallic element, is highly resistant to corrosion, and is extremely reflective. One of the biggest upsides to rhodium plating is it’s nickel free, making it hypoallergenic. It is used as a finish for jewelry, mirrors, and even search lights.

Its because our Jewelry is Plated with White Rhodium. Rhodium is a rare, silver-white hard metal in the platinum family on the periodic table. It’s highly reflective and holds the distinction of being one of the most expensive precious metals in the world.

As an inert or noble metal — meaning it’s resistant to corrosion and oxidation in moist air — rhodium also increases the durability of any jewelry it plates.

We coat or plate our copper or brass designs in a micron thick 18K Gold or White Rhodium Plating. Ours is NOT Toned aka 'Painted'. It won't wear off in the foreseeable future and therefore won't tarnish either. Scratching is mitigated as well.

* Preserve your plating with ONLY Soap & Water cleaning.

Ours has an E-Coat or is E-Coated so only Soap & Water is necessary to recharge your jewelry piece's Original luster. DO NOT USE Ammonia nor any kind of Polish nor Abrasive brush. Don't use a toothbrush nor toothpaste. Protect the E-Coat and your purchase will last & last.

Yes, each jewelry piece is worked on by Jared Jamin himself. Only Precious Metal Plating is done off-site as it requires the jewelry being placed in a series of hot baths with electricity.

Most of our jewelry has an E-coat especially if its Plated in 18K Gold or White Rhodium.

Our E-Coat is a shield like a clear coat on one's fingernails. Its an added clear barrier to keep your jewelry lusty and polished looking by preventing tarnishing and resisting scratching of the Plating.
