An arch, and then a fall of beads. The Meilin Earrings hang from polished silver-plated arches, with two strands of carved coral and faceted onyx dropping from each end — one strand finishing in a carved coral teardrop, the other in a faceted black onyx teardrop.
The strands are deliberately uneven, so the pair moves asymmetrically when worn, and tiny crystal rondelles set between the beads catch the light with every turn. No two carved coral beads are alike; the carving varies bead by bead, the way handwork should.

Artist's Notes
I wanted the arch to feel like a little gate the beads pour through — one side coral, one side onyx, and never quite symmetrical.
