Hand-carved coral blooms — every bead cut with its own floral carving — alternate with faceted black onyx along the Meilin Necklace, raspberry red against jet black, like lanterns strung against a night sky. At 42 inches it falls in a true opera length, and the beads graduate as they descend: smaller and finer at the neck, larger and bolder toward the bottom.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe strand is built in stations. Two open silver-plated rings divide it, each one hand-wrapped in tiny black glass seed beads, and the pattern keeps changing its mind along the way: smooth coral rounds, carved coral bells and cones, crystal rondelles, onyx beads banded with pavé crystal, and two long faceted onyx teardrops. At the bottom, coral barrels and onyx rounds frame one final carved coral bloom at the center.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDesigned in the USA; hand-assembled and finished in our West Hollywood studio.
