Fifty-two inches of deep blue sodalite, hand-knotted bead by bead and scattered with crystal quartz, antique-silver electroplated druzy, and half-plated opalite flashing silver and blue. Some of the quartz beads are vintage — rescued from older necklaces, their softly aged surfaces telling the story. The Lorelei is one of one: a single long strand built for wrapping — tripled, doubled, or left to fall the full length — finished with a sterling silver toggle clasp. Once claimed, it is gone forever.
Artist's Notes
Different tones of blue and white that go with everything, all year long. Jeans and a white top is the obvious move, but it dresses up just as easily. And like our other long necklaces, it’s endlessly versatile: triple-wrapped, doubled, or worn the full length.
