CA Supply Chain Transparency Act

California Supply Chain Transparency Statement

JAREDJAMIN Jewelry & Accessories Studio
Last Updated: September 2025

At JAREDJAMIN, we believe that beauty should never come at the cost of dignity. As a California-based design studio committed to ethical sourcing and responsible stewardship, we fully comply with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (SB 657). Our practices reflect not only our own standards, but also those required by platforms like Wolf & Badger, where we proudly maintain an active listing and meet their rigorous sustainability and labor ethics criteria.

🔍 Verification

We engage in direct verification of our supply chain partners to assess and mitigate risks related to human trafficking, forced labor, and slavery. While we do not currently employ third-party auditors, we require all vendors and manufacturers to disclose their production facilities and affirm compliance with international labor standards, including those set by the International Labour Organization (ILO).

Our internal segmentation process evaluates supplier risk based on geography, labor practices, and transparency metrics. This informs our sourcing decisions and ensures alignment with our values.

📋 Audits

Although we are a boutique studio and do not operate at the scale of mass-market retailers, we reserve the right to conduct spot audits and request documentation from suppliers to confirm compliance. We prioritize relationships with partners who have demonstrated ethical labor practices and transparency in their operations.

✅ Certification

All suppliers and contractors working with JAREDJAMIN must certify that their goods are produced in accordance with:

  • The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)

  • The Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act

  • Local and international labor laws prohibiting child labor, indentured servitude, and human trafficking

We do not tolerate the use of forced, convict, or child labor in any part of our supply chain. Our purchase agreements include explicit clauses requiring compliance with these standards.

🧭 Internal Accountability

Our internal policies reflect our commitment to human rights and ethical business conduct. Any concerns regarding labor violations or unethical sourcing practices can be reported directly to our compliance team using Subject "Labor Violation?" at:

We take all reports seriously and investigate any potential violations swiftly and confidentially.

🎓 Training & Awareness

Our team regularly reviews updates to labor and human rights legislation and participates in industry forums focused on ethical sourcing and sustainability. We also align our practices with platforms like Wolf & Badger, which require designers to meet high standards in environmental and social responsibility.
