"With the Leilani earrings, I wanted to interpret the lush geometry of tropical flora through a sharp, modern lens. Instead of making solid metal flowers, we used precise laser-cutting techniques to etch delicate filigree lines into each variegated petal. This lets air and light pass right through the blossom, creating beautiful shadows against the neck. Suspended from sleek French hooks, the hanging fine-wire stamens cascade down to a grand 6-inch total length, giving the piece a beautiful, dancing kinetic energy. Best of all, we engineered them to weigh just 12 grams each, offering massive runway drama without the heavy pull."
