No stones, no piercing — the sparkle is in the surface. The Dapple is a wide silver cuff worked all over with bold hand hammering, each dimple a small uneven mirror, so the metal breaks the light into a scatter of bright points every time you move.
It rides high on the helix, the upper rim of the ear, where it catches light that a lobe earring never reaches. Where the Elara dresses up with pavé, the Dapple is the everyday one: it slips on in a second, stacks above a stud or a hoop, and asks nothing of your outfit.
Artist's Notes
I named it for dappled light — the kind that comes through leaves and lands in bright patches, never even. That is what the hammering does to this cuff. The dents are deliberately irregular, large and small together, because an even texture goes flat and quiet; the uneven one keeps glittering. It is the casual cuff, the one that lives on the ear.
