This organic, tonal strand is artfully punctuated by a sequence of raw, pebble-like natural turquoise beads and matte hematite stones, establishing an alternating tactile landscape that honors the natural irregularities of earth-born minerals.
The visual architecture is elevated through meticulous metal framing: each turquoise and matte hematite stone is precisely positioned between high-shine, silver electroplated hematite spacers, while a series of delicately carved white bird charms are anchored by gold electroplated hematite accents. Measuring a commanding 32 inches in total length, this unisex design is positioned within our Men's Necklaces section but transitions fluidly into any capsule wardrobe. Completed with a premium sterling silver lobster clasp and a 2-inch extension chain for a custom, adjustable drape, the Kai necklace is a highly individual piece that layers beautifully against open linen shirts or casual daytime knitwear.
"With the Kai necklace, I wanted to craft an elongated strand that feels like a personal talisman collected over years of coastal travel. Mixing vintage horn discs with freshly cut turquoise and matte hematite pebbles gave the piece an immediate, lived-in depth. Alternating between silver and gold electroplated metallic borders around the stones and the sculpted avian motifs allowed me to weave a subtle, bi-metal warmth throughout the entire 32-inch length."
